Hey…!
Tuesday morning I found this San Shou / Wushu academy called “Dragon Dorado Wushu” (Golden Dragon Wushu), they are located in a municipal sport complex (pool, 400 track, soccer and baseball field, indoor basketball court) and it’s cheap!! ($200mx/month, about $20 dls) so I gave it a try, class starts 8:00 and ends 10:00 pm in a little classroom, and after the municipal handball team ends training we move to the court, turns out some girl next door goes and other friend go there I guess it helps that some people you already know go there, makes me feel a little bit more confident.
They have a team called “Iron Fighter Team” and also they’re starting a San Shou league where they invite other gyms, the winner take home the “Iron Fighter Trophy”, it would be interesting to join the team, lets give it a couple of months so I can get in shape and learn some more techniques or combos or whatever
Monday I had a 2km (1 1/4 mile) power walk, no music, just thinking about a lot of things…
Food this week has been as usual, green tea in the morning, beef or chicken for lunch, and this smoothie I make with 1 cup non-lactose milk + 1 teaspoon PB + 1 teaspoon oatmeal + 1/2 banana (sometimes)…
Body is still sore from first San Shou lesson, it got me really exhausted but I know I can handle the second one and the whole month… I feel something is coming… something really good… I’ll keep you posted!
